Terrific result for England

England won a thriller against South Africa by six runs helped by Broad who took a superb 4 wicket haul and Anderson who took 2 crucial wickets at a crucial moment.
England batting first had a bad start losing both the openers in the first over itself. Bopara however helped the sinking ship with Trott. Both these Batsmen made half centuries and helped the team get to 171 runs which proved to be too much for the Proteas.
Proteas chasing a small target on a spinning track had a really good start with a 63 runs opening stand where they looked to run away with an easy victory. The situation though changed when they slumped to 124 for 4 by 32 overs. It changed even further towards England as the Proteas lost 4 wickets in 4 overs and when they reached 127 runs, they were down by 4 more. Anderson took 2 quick wickets.  Broad who took a couple of openers wickets took two more near the end. Bopara was declared man of the match for his 60 runs in a low scoring game.
England 171 (Bopara 60, Trott 52, Tahir 4-38)
beat South Africa 165 (Amla 42, Broad 4-15) by six runs
