Pakistan end Australia's unbeaten run, finish on top!!!

Australia's unbeaten tally of 34 world cup matches without a loss was beaten by Pakistan today as they beat them by 4 wickets. Incidentally, the last loss for Australia in world cup came 12 years back at the hands of Pakistan in 1999 world cup. For the previous 2 editions, they had dominated the tournament and the game itself.
This also marks the end of Australia on top of the points table as Pakistan top the tables.
Australia chose to bat first and they could only put up 176 runs and they were all out in about 47 overs. The only big partnership was between Haddin and a struggling Ponting of 63 runs. Haddin made 42 and Clarke 34. The middle order dint last long. Umer Gul was at his deadly best and he got 3 wickets for 30 runs. Razzaq took 2 wickets and all other Pakistani bowlers who bowled got a wicket apiece.

Being all out also put curtains on Australia's another streak where they had not been dismissed for 28 innings.
Chasing an easy total, Pakistan might have thought it would be easier but Brett Lee was bowling with full steam and he constantly clocked above 145kmph and was very accurate. He took 4 for 28 and was devastating. But all other bowlers were struggling at other end and this helped Pak to seal a victory.
For Pakistan, Asad Shafiq made a brilliant 46 and he stayed much through Lee's initial spell. Umar Akmal saw them home with yet another finish and he scored 44 and was unbeaten.
Australia though lost the game, were quite difficult to beat and they did tremendously well in defending such a low score. If they get a little support from the senior pros in the batting, they could probably dominate again.

Australia 176 all out
Pakistan 178 for 6 (41 overs) won by 4 wickets
