The team from Australia which toured England in 1948 after world war 2 has been touted to be one of the best teams ever in the game of cricket.
This team is the only side in the history to to tour England unbeaten.
They won the test series in England 4-0.The team was captained by Sir Don Bradman who was already a legend and it was his last series before retirement. Many critics argue that England was more on the receiving side of world war 2 than the Australians but more commentators and cricket experts have rated this side very highly. Bradman was 40 years old and was in the Board of Control. He also had explicit voting in team selection being the Captain. He was the most powerful Skipper Australia ever had.
