Australia win easily and get through to quarter finals

Australia registered another win against Canada by 7 wickets which helped them to maintain their unbeaten winning streak in the tournament. They are the only team in this world cup to have not lost a single match and this helped them to get into the knockout stage.
Canada choosing to bat first though getting a good start faltered to some good bowling by Lee and Krejza to fold up for 211 runs.
Chasing a target which was below par, the openers did most of the job as Watson scored 94 and Haddin 88 and Australia lost only 3 wickets chasing the target.

The former world champions dint look clinical or devastating and the fielding and bowling in beginning was rather poor and this caused some irritation and frustration to the Captain Ponting, who lost temper on more than a few occasions.

Australia 212 for 3 (Watson 94, Haddin 88) beat Canada 211 (Patel 54, Lee 4-46) by seven wickets
